BB: $130.35
UTG: $101.50
UTG+1: $188.70
Hero (UTG+2): $107.35
MP1: $233.20
MP2: $99.00
CO: $44.05

SB: $101.20

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is UTG+2 with As Kd
2 folds, Hero raises to $3.50, 2 folds, CO calls $3.50, BTN calls $3.50, 2 folds

Flop: ($12.00) 7d Kh Th (3 players)
Hero bets $8.50, CO folds, BTN raises to $28.50, Hero calls $20
Alright... WTF?

Turn: ($69.00) 4s (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $67.50 all in, Hero requests TIME, Hero folds
Easy fold?  Either he has QJh or a flopped set of 7's.  Pretty certain he's 3betting TT.  KT is also in his calling range, especially in position.  He's not shy about 3betting, given his 5.5% propensity, but should I be stacking off here?

Final Pot: $69.00
BTN wins $66.00
(Rake: $3.00)

  1. I think so. That board is so drawish that I think you need to go with it. I think we can conclude you are either ahead, but facing a hand with a significant amount of outs, or behind and drawing really thin. However, you are getting 2-1 and folding the top of your range is never a good thing.

  2. IDK I really think OOP you have to make these decisions on the flop. Calling and "re-evaluating" OOP is just not +EV vs. a competent opponent.

  3. I think he has TT here a lot also. Why do you think he is going to be squeezing TT here v an EP raise? He seems good, and this seems bad. It is essentially turning his hand into a bluff. I highly, HIGHLY doubt KT is in his pf calling range. things like QJs or gutshot and straight draws are possible, but his line just seems so strong, bc of your call on flop. Just my .02.
