It is essentially turning his hand into a bluff. I highly, HIGHLY doubt KT is in his pf calling range. things like QJs or gutshot and straight draws are possible, but his line just seems so strong, bc of your call on flop. I think we can conclude you are either ahead, but facing a hand with a significant amount of outs, or behind and drawing really thin.
