Let's break it down; either the villain is a donk or not a donk. Since you have no stats, you can't really assume either. In these types of situations I'll give more credit to the villain when facing a lot of resistance and less credit when there is little to no resistance. This also allows me to get a cheaper showdown so I know how to play with them in the future. Is this approach exploitable? Possibly. But then again they don't know my style yet either.
ReplyDeleteThis board is paired and both straights and flushes are possible. The 67 is a likely multi-way hand. And every diamond above 10 is out there so there are so many suited [diamond] broadway hands that would have gone to a flop with you.
Exactly what can you beat against an unknown here other than a poorly played overpair?
