What would you do? #143 - Missed value?

Full Tilt Poker $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 8 players
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

CO: $50.00
BTN: $22.90
Hero (SB): $60.75
BB: $14.45 - 36 / 21 / 38% steal / 0% 3bet / 6.0 aggression factor / 58 hands
UTG: $80.45
UTG+1: $50.75 - 47 / 33 / 100% steal / 0% 3bet / 15 hands
MP1: $50.00
MP2: $50.80 - 28 / 5 / 18% steal / 0% 3bet / 97 hands

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is SB with Tc 8c
1 fold, UTG+1 raises to $1.50, 1 fold, MP2 calls $1.50, 2 folds, Hero calls $1.25, BB calls $1

Flop: ($6.00) 3d Th 4d (4 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $3, UTG+1 raises to $6.25, MP2 folds, Hero calls $6.25, BB requests TIME, BB raises to $12.95 all in, UTG+1 calls $6.70, Hero calls $6.70

Turn: ($44.85) Ah (3 players - 1 is all in)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks
With the Ace falling on the turn, I really don't feel like I'm getting value from smaller hands.  If I bet, I'm essentially turning my hand into a bluff.  I'm way ahead / way behind right now.  Thoughts?  Should I have raised the flop?  I have a fairly weak hand at this point.

River: ($44.85) 5h (3 players - 1 is all in)
Hero checks, UTG+1 checks

Final Pot: $44.85
Hero shows Tc 8c (a pair of Tens)
BB shows 6d 6c (a pair of Sixes)
UTG+1 shows 7h 7d (a pair of Sevens)
Hero wins $42.65
(Rake: $2.20)

  1. I think your thinking is dead on. Nice hand.

  2. I neglected to mention why I call the action on the flop - Am I ever folding to a min raise like this? I strongly considered raising the flop after UTG+1 flats the 4bet from BB... But look at these guy's VPIP/PFR. They're outside the norm, granted UTG+1 has only 15 hands... which is why I probably don't 5bet there. However, I'm likely ahead regardless on this kind of flop - which leaves only sets and two pair combos that are ahead of me (as well as a pesky QT, KT, AT combo).

  3. Considering UTG + 1's bet on the flop, I'd be more inclined to put him on a better kicker than me with limited information, but that just shows how much of a nit I am. Nice play.

  4. @edgie - I agree, which is why I opted to check down. However, by the time the Ace comes on the turn, I can't put him on AT. KT, QT, JT are certainly possible, but given his aggression and then opting to flat the BB shove, I have trouble believing his line here.

Essentially, if UTG+1 raises in that spot (BB's shove), I have to fold. The annoying part to the whole hand is that I should be betting the turn or river and I think I would have had a bit of value there... If I put out a turn bet of ~$10-15... I just saw BB & UTG+1 as aggrodonks. However, I was afraid to build a HUGE pot where I was forced into making a hero call on the river. As is, the pot grew pretty big, but I think I can find the call button to a bluff on the river.
