This happened in back to back hands at the same table... I felt bad [only a little] for the first, but the second... LOL!
Full Tilt Poker $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 9 players
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter
CO: $56.90
Hero (BTN): $81.05
SB: $50.00 - 2 hands on villain. I'm usually giving no credit to villains with no history.
BB: $63.30
UTG: $30.00
UTG+1: $52.25
UTG+2: $46.75
MP1: $50.75
MP2: $48.90
Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BTN with 7h 7d
3 folds, MP1 calls $0.50, 2 folds, Hero raises to $2.50, SB raises to $8, 2 folds, Hero calls $5.50
Flop: ($17.00) 6c 5h 2c (2 players)
SB bets $9, Hero calls $9
I call the flop because I'm still not convinced he has a hand - I'm still putting him on AK or the like.
Turn: ($35.00) 7c (2 players)
SB bets $33 all in, Hero calls $33
Obviously I'm folding here if I don't hit my set. By his bet, I'm now a believer that he's legit.
River: ($101.00) 2d (2 players - 1 is all in)
Final Pot: $101.00
Hero shows 7h 7d (a full house, Sevens full of Twos)
SB shows As Ah (two pair, Aces and Twos)
Hero wins $98.00
(Rake: $3.00)
But this hand is inexcusable... (different player, same table):

"You're not getting any more of my money!"
ReplyDeleteI love this shit more than winning the money!
nh!
ReplyDelete(but fold to the 3b in hand 1 imo)
@Happy - Yeah; in retrospect, I bled a lot of money there - $17 between the PF action & flop. He had seen me as a pretty active player in prior hands, while waiting for his blind to come around. I felt like he was making a move on me to put me to a decision against an unknown. I realize that I'm way past the commitment threshold here in that first hand, but I also know that I'm certainly not committed to the hand despite having 40% of my chips in already. I'm hoping for an Ace or King to bail me out and give me a reason to fold by the turn, but the turn is my gold card obv. I've seen a lot of players at 50nl go all 3 streets with AK. Even the net positive regs...
