Hero: u hit your K huh

Hero: of something

Hero folds
Anyone calling here? MP1 flopped or turned a boat / quads. Given the way he played it, check / flat / raise - is there any other interpretation? AcKc? Either way, it's rare to see a river bluff like this at 100nl; I think I'm going to be shown a better flush / boat / quads more often than calling the raise will make me profitable.

Opinions?

Final Pot: $52.50
MP1 wins $49.90
(Rake: $2.60)

  1. I'd still fold preflop only 3 way.

I'm not sure what I would do as QT is definitley a possiblity.

At the end of day, Rush is much more straight forward and a big raise normally means something so folding is probably right.

  2. I would have played the hand exactly like you did. Tough to call with that low of flush. Sure he could have had KJ for two pair or AK but like you said more times than not its not a profitable call.

  3. @ Will - The reason I call is for exactly that point. A 9.5/7.4 has a pretty limited range... particularly from EP raises. If I miss my hand, it's an easy fold. If I hit my hand, I potentially stack either player. The implied odds of two lower cards like this are pretty good. The loss will be fairly limited.
