What would you do? #80 - Facing 3/4 bet on terrible river

Rush poker; no reads:

Full Tilt Poker $0.50/$1 No Limit Hold'em - 9 players
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

SB: $175.50
BB: $140.15
UTG: $100.95
UTG+1: $92.60
UTG+2: $41.00
MP1: $62.75
MP2: $303.80
Hero (CO): $104.65
BTN: $170.15

Pre Flop: ($1.50) Hero is CO with Qs Qh
5 folds, Hero raises to $3.50, 1 fold, SB calls $3, 1 fold

Flop: ($8.00) Tc 9c Jd (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $5, SB raises to $14, Hero calls $9
The raise is a little alarming; I'm not looking to get stacks in here with a very vulnerable overpair. It's already starting to get out of hand.

Turn: ($36.00) Js (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks
At least I can check behind and control pot size. Terrible card, though.

River: ($36.00) 5c (2 players)
SB bets $27, Hero requests TIME, Hero ???

Hero folds
Now the flush is completed AND the top pair on the board had paired. Bad fold? Good fold?

There's a lot that's beating me here; I think QQ is basically a bluff catcher. I have 17BB vested and he's asking for another 27BBs? I think it's time to cut my losses.

Final Pot: $36.00
SB wins $34.20
(Rake: $1.80)

  1. I think it is a good fold.

I'd weigh him more towards a flush than a jack, as he might protect his jack by betting the turn since therea are alot of draws available.
