If you know me, I always lament how I never hit my draws. They can be monster draws or straight up flush draws... either way, unless I hold J9s, I'm missing it. Here's a hand where I have a monster draw, but the draw wasn't mine... I was ahead the whole way!

Flop: ($9.50) 8s Ts Jd (2 players)
Hero bets $6, MP2 calls $6
*GREAT* flop. I'm drawing to the nut flush, inside straight and a possible 2 overcards. I'm discounting one of those overcards, but I want to build a pot.
Turn: ($21.50) 6d (2 players)
Hero bets $12, MP2 calls $12
6d bricks the turn; no reason to slow down.
River: ($45.50) 5h (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks
And by now, I'm pissed. WTF? Can I never hit a monster draw? I don't understand it. I remember playing this hand and thinking - "DAMNIT! More of the same old SHIT!"
Final Pot: $45.50
MP2 mucks Kd Qd - Surprised to see the pot ship my way. Wow. He turned a "monster" draw. He's kinda lucky that most of his "outs" didn't get there. The reality was he only had 5 outs to the straight and 8 outs to the flush; 26%. Please delete my previous rant :-).
Hero shows As Qs (Ace Queen high)
Hero wins $43.25
(Rake: $2.25)
