Hero folds
I'm not drawing completely dead with my middle pair, but CO's shove?  No reads?  Should I be making this call?  Is this a very weak fold where I'm allowing myself to be pushed around by a short stack?  Poker messes with your mind!  I'm second guessing everything I do...

Final Pot: $22.50
CO wins $21.40
(Rake: $1.10)

  1. Fold.

You PFR'd and got called in multiple spots. The flop is unlikely to have hit any high card combinations and you bet out but get called in multiple spots.

If he's bluffing, so be it. He may even be loose enough to call the flop with T9, but you're still beat!

I think your continuation bet on the flop is the key part of the hand.

I don't think that a CBet is terrible, as you might have the best hand and you have GShot outs too. However, your position is not favorable. Alot of limping connectors can have pair/draw combinations - some of which beat you, some of which do not, and against these hands you do not get much from betting. Betting charges high card combos to draw, but alot of players might float here as well. Last, your hand becomes difficult when any Ace/paints hits.

A Cbet isn't hopeless, and your likely plan is to check the turn bc there are few cards that improve your situation. Therefore,I think after your C-bet you already planned to check-fold unless a total brick showed up.

Stick with your plan, and don't feel bad & second guess it. Fold is fine.

  2. @Anonymous: Since you're not cbetting here, are you check /folding this flop? What about if it checks around and there's a bet on the turn?
