What would you do? #63 - facing turn shove

Full Tilt Poker $0.25/$0.50 No Limit Hold'em - 7 players
The Official DeucesCracked.com Hand History Converter

SB: $50.00
Hero (BB): $89.65
UTG: $41.75
UTG+1: $56.20
MP: $31.35
CO: $47.40
BTN: $31.00 - 41/0/.5AF

Pre Flop: ($0.75) Hero is BB with 6s 4s
UTG calls $0.50, 2 folds, CO calls $0.50, BTN calls $0.50, SB calls $0.25, Hero checks

Flop: ($2.50) 6d 4h 7d (5 players)
SB bets $2, Hero raises to $6, UTG folds, CO folds, BTN calls $6, SB calls $4

Turn: ($20.50) 3d (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, BTN bets $24.50 all in, SB folds, Hero requests TIME, Hero folds
Absolute worst card. Any 5 turns a straight. Any 2 diamonds turns a flush. 50BB shove... anyone calling here? I'm assuming he has A5 which is why he shoves; he doesn't want any callers with a random diamond.

What do you think?

Final Pot: $20.50
BTN wins $19.50
(Rake: $1.00)

  1. How many hands did you see him at 41/0? If he just sat down he might be protecting a high pair like 10's and representing the flush. Otherwise, not worth risking your bankroll by calling.

  2. I think you made a good laydown -- no use losing a big pot with 6-4.

  3. Considering he cold-called a bet and raise then shoved on the turn, yet his stats show he's pretty passive, I'd say it is a pretty safe fold.
