CO is threatening stacks here. What does he have that I'm beating? AK? It's possible that he limps QJ, even KT may not be a stretch. I fully intended to check / raise this flop if given the opportunity. I don't want a Qx or Jx hand in here. Does CO limp 99 or TT with a posted UTG+1?
Simple fact is that CO has well represented that he has a hand with a lot of strength and is willing to get stacks in. Easy fold? What do you think?

Not with the flush draw... He could have something like AhJh and wants to get it in on the flop. I say you use the BrueChips fade and go. Call and shove the non-heart turn. Check/fold a heart.
ReplyDeletearen't you just facing a 3bet. Anyway, I don't think it is an easy fold; but I think I would be folding here; especially from 12/8 guy. I'll gladly give him credit for a hand.. even it is only AK. I think our better spots.
ReplyDeleteJudging from his HUD stats I'd be willing to bet that he's tight enough to only come in light preflop with 99, and that's where his calling range stops. JQ is also a good possibility, but I think it's a good fold here.

@Anon - "Call and shove the non-heart turn" - I'm essentially shoving the non-heart turn regardless because I'm nearly 50BB committed and have reached the commitment threshold.
