Anyway, this was another donkey at the table... After 80-someodd hands, he was a 33/8 / AF 8.0/ cbet 100%/ steal 20%. He's a donkish player; in my prior experience, his bets don't make a lot of sense and he seems to steal at a good clip:

ReplyDeleteOne question though. I notice that you mention a lot of stats, which are obviously from PokerTracker or that other one. How much do you rely on those numbers? I get the sense that you rely on them heavily. Can you go into your analysis or the use of stats a bit? I used to use PokerTracker2 with AceHud, but it doesn't work anymore. Regardless, I don't think I ever fully utilized it to its fullest potential.

ReplyDeleteAs soon as I have the time, I'll go through a basic tutorial of PokerTracker. It is definitely useful, particularly if you multi table while playing online. I play 5-8 tables at any given time, and PT3 allows me to gather data that I would be gathering mentally... without the need to pay close attention to each individual hand.
That'd be great, but even moreso than a tutorial, can you just explain what info you use when making your decisions and how it affects your decision making?
