Getting deeper into the hand, and I've gone into shell mode, calling down.

Hero checks, BTN bets $8, Hero ???
He's clearly not phased by the Ace, nor the backdoor heart draw. Should I be calling this? The only two hands I can put a 13 VPIP on is AQ & 44. Opinions?
