The WTF hand of the day...

Background: SB is seeing about 60% of the flops, very passive, calling station. The only time he gets aggressive is when he believes he has the nuts. He's already sucked out on my twice tonight. Then, when I'm sure I have him by the "nuts," I have to go to splittsville...

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (9 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from

MP3 ($66.97)
Hero (CO) ($20.45)
Button ($38.62)
SB ($26.66)
BB ($25.35)
UTG ($17.74)
UTG+1 ($17.03)
MP1 ($5)
MP2 ($5.17)

Preflop: Hero is CO with As, Jc
2 folds, MP1 calls $0.25, 2 folds, Hero bets $1, 1 fold, SB calls $0.90, 1 fold, MP1 calls $0.75

Flop: ($3.25) Ad, 6h, 10c (3 players)
SB checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets $2, SB calls $2, 1 fold
I'm repping an Ace here. No question; I'm pretty sure he's on a weaker ace. He'd raise here if he had 2 pair or better.

Turn: ($7.25) Kc (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3, SB calls $3
I'm going to continue betting here, to get value from him.

River: ($13.25) Qh (2 players)
SB bets $5.25, Hero raises to $14.45 (All-In), SB calls $9.20
Wow! I backdoored the nut straight. Wait a second; he's betting out here. Perhaps he rivered two pair? I'm all in to max out value here.

Total pot: $42.15 | Rake: $2.10

SB had 10h, Jd (straight, Ace high).
Hero had As, Jc (straight, Ace high).
Outcome: SB won $20.03, Hero won $20.02
Oh dear. He runner runnered a straight from JTo!?!?!? Hard to dump that hand pre flop or on the turn I guess... WTF!??!?!?!?
