Hero requests TIME, Hero calls $37.45 all in

I guess given my note, the call is somewhat obvious. This is such a coin flip / polarizing call, despite the note, though. I prefer a check / call river than a bet / fold river because he's folding to a bet with all of his drawing hands.

I don't see him pushing all in with a naked Ten, despite his turn raise. The only hand that really would make sense for him is AcTx (or a flopped flush, ldo), and I simply don't see him shoving with any of those hands.

Final Pot: $105.15
MP2 shows 3h 3s (a pair of Threes)
Hero shows Kd Ks (a pair of Kings)
Hero wins $102.15
(Rake: $3.00)

  1. Surely you folding this on the turn against an unknown, right?

  2. I think it's such a strange shove against an unknown. I don't know how to take this line if I don't have any stats. I'd have to err on the side of giving him credit for the straight, but again, it's just such an odd line to take: club draw is there as well as the obvious straight draw. Is an overbet shove really getting value from hands that it knows it beats? Given an unknown, you don't really know whether they're a thinking player, but still - is a made hand overbet shoving? My turn bet / call & river check says that I have a showdown worthy hand who will probably call a decent % pot sized bet - a shove is a very tough call for all non- Ten holdings.
