I just can't see him wanting to stack off with anything less than QJ, which is what I suspect. There are a few draws on the turn, but I can't see him c/r'ing the turn with draws. This is such a marginal fold against a total LAGbot...

ReplyDeleteI dont like calling here either. Can we bet more on the turn please? Given that he is a loose player and has called a raise pre-flop and a cbet on the flop while OOP, I see no reason why we can't go for around $7 to $7.50 on the turn as opposed to a half potter for $5. Plus, when you get raised on the turn with a larger bet, its easier to pitch the hand when you get check-raised given the amount of strength you've shown.

ReplyDeleteIn this case I like the fold as well. I figure you're up against KJ or something like that. I don't think calling down with TPGK on the river after getting called on the flop, raised on the turn and then bet out strong on the river is a winning strategy over time.
