Poker ettiquette for SB / BB?

I don't know; when I'm playing, I feel like it is customary for a limped pot pre-flop which flops all undercards to be given to the BB or SB, for the trouble of posting the blinds. A flop like 258 should be given to the SB/BB just for having the courage to bet into it. Outside of someone hitting a set, the other players should just give up. Right? Is it just me or am I crazy?
